Sacramento Mountain Lions head coach DENNIS GREEN said: "Our entire coaching staff is excited about the opportunity to have these four tryouts. All the players who came out last year worked hard and quite a few made it to training camp."
Hartford Colonials head coach JERRY GLANVILLE said: "We will continue to look at areas that we need to fill. We spent a lot of draft picks on linemen, so we'll definitely be looking for people at the skilled positions – linebackers, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends. We have to find ten more players with these camps."
Virginia Destroyers head coach MARTY SCHOTTENHEIMER said: "We had a great turnout at Norfolk State University last week. We're hopeful that we'll have the same type of turnout, with equally talented players, at the open tryout near Atlanta."
